On Friday evening, August 29th, Bay West proudly presents, from New York City, Mr. Franco Peraza. Franco is an accomplished teacher, choreographer and competitior who serves as Dance Director of Stepping Out Studios in Manahattan. He will conduct an American Style Waltz Workshop from 8-9 p.m., followed by a general dance party featuring favorite Ballroom, Latin & Club mixes of music.

American Samba with Alexander Ivanov (Friday, September 12)

On Friday evening, September 12th, we proudly present an American Style Samba workshop with Bay Area favorite, Alexander Ivanov. The Samba is a lively dance full of verve, pulsing beat and rhythmic expression in hips, ankle rise and knee flex. Alexander has many accolades bestowed as top teacher and competitor at numerous competitions. He is a result oriented instructor which is what makes him so popular at the Cheryl Burke Dance Center in San Francisco.

West Coast Swing with U.S. Champion, Kelly Casanova-Buckwalter (Friday, September 26)

On Friday evening, Sept. 26th, Bay West proudly presents, former U.S. Swing Champion, Kelly Casanova. One of the most revered and in demand personalities in the world of swing dancing, Kelly will conduct a workshop from 8-9 p.m. on the main floor. Kelly's classes are always popular for her inventive combinations, fun personality and clear teaching style; not to mention all the bullet points on her resume. An all swing dance will follow Kelly's class from 9-11 pm. While Kelly teaches an intermediate and above class on the main floor, Bay West staff will teach a class for rank beginners in the back studio. All levels are welcome.
